Edfu (1992):
BHA Egypt started its services with a static clinic consisting of 7 boxes, a sandy yard with capacity for 10 inpatients and a single mobile clinic. In 2001 we expanded the operation with an extra mobile team and new extension to the clinic to include 31 boxes and 2 sandy yards with the capacity to host 56 inpatients. The clinic in Edfu is built close to the famous Edfu temple of Horus, which facilitates access to the Brooke for the owners of horse-drawn carriages used so often by tourists. The clinic supplied with 4 mobile clinics used for visits villages around Edfu.
