It was established in El-Gomrok district, a public area near the port where animals are used mainly to transport goods to/ from the port. The clinic includes a room used for examining cases and performing minor operations. It is equipped with a lab for examining samples and clinical analysis, a radiography system, drug and forage stores and three separate boxes. The clinic is supplied with 4 mobile clinic teams used for visits to the markets and villages to provide first aid to animals and improve the awareness of their owners and users about the best equine welfare practices. Those in need of intensive care are transported to the clinic where they stay until they are fully recovered.
