About 25 of the schoolchildren presented their ideas about the expression of animal welfare. Some of them presented their ideas through drawing and painting sketches; others did researches and wrote paragraphs to express the subject as well.

The school administration chose ten winners in that competition and awarded them with stationary prizes in a festive atmosphere.

Two weeks earlier Mr. Tamer Soliman’ “our admin officer in Alexandria clinic” with the support of Ms. Hend “rural guide who support the Brooke work”, visited many Primary schools in Rashid city in order to choose a school with a largest number of students who deal with animals to organize the animal welfare competition.

It’s worth mentioning that, Rashid is one of the locations which is covered by the Brooke Alexandria mobile clinic team and is visited on a weekly basis since 2004, also there are 2 rural guides who support Brooke Alexandria activities in this area.
