Much more Caring for Brooke Cairo Hospital’s inpatient animals in the winter season

It is that time of year again! The weather is changing and the Egyptian Winter weather is colder than most people anticipate which can cause a lot more shivering for the animals than any other weather condition. Cold weather is always harder on the sick animals than the healthy ones.

Therefore, BHA-Egypt always thinks for ways, as the working animals always need a little extra protection when the weather turns cold.

From this point, BHA-Egypt found that winter equine blankets are an ideal way to help the animals stay warm during the cold winter months also it can help provide valuable protection against inclement weather. Blanketing sick animals in the winter is a necessary practice in BHA-Egypt when it starts to get a little chilly outside.

The blankets are tailored by Brooke Cairo Hospital’s saddler to fit the horse and donkey sizes, washed and repaired. When something gets torn, it would be replaced immediately with a new one and most importantly removed when spring starts.
