Mrs. Amina El Demirdash is an Egyptian visual artist working primarily in painting and mixed media. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 2008 and completed an intensive Master’s program in Florence, Italy, in 2018.
Her work explores cultural identity and contemporary themes, drawing inspiration from Egyptian heritage and everyday life. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Egypt and internationally, with her work featured in respected galleries and cultural institutions.
Ms. El Demirdash has also taken part in artist residencies in France, Italy, and Spain, enriching her practice through cross-cultural exchange. She comes from a distinguished lineage, being the granddaughter of Princess Faika Fouad and Queen Nazli.
