Damietta is a small governorate situated northern to Dakahlia governorate on the coast of Mediterranean sea. The equine population in Damietta Governorate is 5,636 animals. The Brooke started co-operation with Damietta Veterinary Administration since 2021.

After agreement with Dr Ihab Shukry (Head of Damietta Veterinary Administration in 2021), the Brooke – Egypt held many Veterinary Campaigns inside Damietta Veterinary Administration on yearly basis in (Gheit Al-Nasara), these campaigns was arranged to provide free veterinary services to equine working animals in Damietta city which are mostly working in transporting furniture.

Another sort of Veterinary campaigns arranged in small cities and villages allover Damietta governorate to reach equine animals working in farming purposes. These campaigns are arranged by the Brooke Mansoura mobile clinic teams on monthly basis.
