From July to September 2024, the BHA-Egypt clinics conducted a summer veterinary welfare training program for undergraduate veterinary students. The training included theoretical sessions covering the history of Brooke Egypt, animal welfare by the Five Freedoms, and practical field days at our static and mobile clinics.
This program provided an excellent opportunity for veterinary students to observe equine welfare in practice.
A total of 462 students from veterinary colleges in Cairo, Badr, Mansoura, Alexandria, Banha, Qena, and Aswan participated in the training.
