On March 3rd, each year, environmental friends, animal welfare organizations, and animal rights activists organize the World Wildlife Day celebration. The celebration aimed to raise awareness of the protection of all types of wildlife from any threat posed. Each year, there is a specific theme focused on. It was a good opportunity to build a bridge of communication with other NGOs, raise and explain the issue of donkey skin trade and its implications on the long-term on Egyptian livelihood and economy. The BHA Egypt booth was honored by Mrs. Radhia Achouri (director of UN information)’s visit where a discussion was carried out about the importance of community awareness and the importance for the developed countries to start now.
